Job Summary

We are looking for a Program Manager for our WorkSmart brand.



The ideal candidate for this role has strong experience in business, is a former educator or loves participating in accelerators/incubators/online courses, is equal parts visionary and executor, and is a natural community builder.

About You: 

WorkSmart’s Program Manager will lead the operations for the advising program that helps small business owners scale their revenue and teams through group coaching, curriculum and community. 


In addition to overseeing the advising program, The WorkSmart Program manager will lead day-to-day operations of delivering the WorkSmart Methodology and Curriculum to our community through creating a calendar of events, IG Lives, supporting alumni, sourcing podcast guests, and developing free digital products.


This is a full-time remote position.

– Lead all elements of our core WorkSmart Program: managing the application, selection, and onboarding process, running workshops and office hours, updating the curriculum and content, and strategizing on additional programming like masterclasses and guest speakers.

– Develop and execute the next version of the program so that it can scale delivery to thousands of POC small business owners every year.

– Develop alumni programs and supplemental events like happy hours and mixers.

– Grow the awareness of the program and collect/integrate member feedback into curriculum adjustments.

– Measure program engagement metrics and monitor outcomes from alumni.

– Design program structure including event types, discussion formats, topics to cover, and resources to provide.

– Design and launch new experimental offerings based on member feedback, online education trends, and your ideas.

– Expertly curate and design each cohort to become a self-organizing community to support each participant’s entrepreneurial journey.

– Build many new relationships and have a one-of-a-kind experience connecting business owners and professionals.

– Partner with the DeBaun & Co. Director of Operations, Creative team, and Morgan on company strategic priorities.

Logistics and Operations — 

ensure that the experience is seamless for members and efficient for our team to deliver. You’ll execute the process for onboarding new members, create a run of shows for complex virtual events, distribute calendar events and communications, and more. Juggling all of this will require a strong attention to detail and organization skills.

Onboarding of New Cohorts — 

you will be the sole owner of this process from start to finish. As the owner of this process, you will create the execution plan, refine and update our processes as needed, and handle all communications internally and externally surrounding this process.

Calendar & Event Management — 

responsible for leading the charge on putting together the calendar events, curating the schedule, assigning teammates to host events, as well as handling all event logistics from start to finish.

No-Code Infrastructure — 

work within our no-code stack to set up automation and infrastructure to ensure that we work smarter, not harder.

Community Management

have great interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with a wide variety of humans. You’ll be expected to capture and review feedback from members, make connections between community members, and become a curator and go-to team member!

Company Communications — 

as a fully remote team and program, communication is at the core of a successful Program Manager. All types: verbal, written, presentation, facilitation, collaborative, both with the internal team and WorkSmart members. You’ll draft and send emails and newsletters, write copy for event invitations, respond to DMs, and coordinate with a variety of people.



– 2-4 years online course or program management experience

– A passion for helping the underestimated founder or small business succeed

– Thrive in environments that are fast-paced, autonomous, often scrappy, and occasionally chaotic. No two days are the same at DeBaun & Co.!

– Proven record of strong self-management skills and ability to self organize in a remote environment 

– High output, execution, and hustle — get stuff done mindset and willingness to build things from 0-1.

– Meticulously detail-oriented and organized — able to juggle many priorities while not dropping any balls.

– Strong verbal, written, and digital communications skills


– Experience working for an accelerator/incubator or entrepreneurial support program preferred

– Customer-centric focus with experience building communities, leading teams, and a history of supporting others.

– Demonstrated knowledge of the business landscape, including an understanding of startup and small business needs
